• St Christopher’s Bromley
This project is a new-build day hospice replacing temporary accommodation on a restricted site with mature trees. The plan was developed to work around the trees.

The ground floor is a day care centre for patients with therapy rooms, dining and activity spaces opening onto a secluded garden. The first floor is accommodation for the home care team, while the top floor is for fundraising and education activities.

Sustainability was an important consideration on the project. A high level of thermal performance, and water management have been incorporated, as well as low embodied energy in the building materials.
