Michael joined Acanthus Architects LW in 1995, became an Associate in 1996 and a Partner in 1997. He is the Director responsible for securing and managing infrastructure projects. These include system-wide initiatives and new or modernised stations for Transport for London and its associated private and public organisations, the Rail Network and Train Operating Companies. These are carried out either by direct appointment or via commissions through consulting engineers and contractors.
He was the founding chairman of the Design for Transport Joint Venture Consortium, delivering the Station Modernisation and Enhancement Programme for the Piccadilly Line, and was the first architect to qualify in the RICS Diploma in Project Management.
Michael is responsible for the financial management of the practice.
