Conservation work has formed a cornerstone of the practice’s business since its inception. Over the years a large number of diverse and interesting projects have been successfully completed varying from the reconstruction of lost garden structures to the careful dismantling and re-erection of a listed building.
Our clients range from large organisations and companies such as the National Trust and Sainsbury’s plc to individual building preservation trusts and we also act as historic building consultants to other architectural practices. Many of these projects have been partly funded from successful grant applications to the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage and other funding bodies.
Our principal is an accredited conservation architect and an architectural historian allowing us to offer a full range of conservation services from the preparation of conservation plans to the informed repair, adaptation and extension of historic buildings.
