• Metropolitan Line Extension
The Metropolitan Line Extension is a £285m project to reroute the Metropolitan Line north of Croxley station to a new terminus at Watford Junction. We have been architects on the project through all procurement stages as the lead designer for two new stations at Cassiobridge and Watford Vicarage Road, new traction power substation at Tolpits Lane and advising Arup on the appearance of the 400m long viaduct structure. Our role included stakeholder engagement, supporting the Transport and Works Act Order process and obtaining Funding from the Department for Transport. Detailed design works are currently underway with trains forecast to be running from December 2019
